16 hours/week; includes some hybrid working; Monday mornings plus at least one other morning/week required in the office
Based in Rickmansworth (WD3 1HP), on the Metropolitan Line
Salary £22,129 pa, FTE, pro rata £ 9,568 pa
The role comprises assisting the clerk with the running of the Community Council, including:
-extensive use of digital marketing and social media to promote Council activities
-uploading documents to the Council's website
-answering the office phone and handling queries
-gathering information for Council meetings
-researching information and costings for Council projects
-facilitating Council Planning Meetings
-involvement in the organisation of the Council's community projects and events
-reconciling bank statements
-entering payment details onto an electronic accounting system
-some minute taking.
Essential qualities:
-Proficient IT ability with demonstrable experience of digital marketing and social media
-Clear written and verbal communication skills
-A good sense of numeracy, accuracy and attention to detail
-Ability to multitask and prioritise workload
-A willingness to learn.
