Herts Police and Crime Commissioner Annual Public Consultation

Herts Police and Crime Commissioner Annual Public Consultation

Proposal: increase Hertfordshire officer numbers with an average £10-a-year increase in 2022/23 Council Tax.

Priorities: maintenance of strong neighbourhood policing; reduction of violence against women and children; enabling smarter working using technology to make the service quicker, easier and more accessible to the public such as sending live video-streams to officers and the force control room when calling 999 or 101, sending digital evidence online, checking an officer's identity via a unique pin code.

The Commissioner wants to hear public (including Parish, Town and Community Councillors) views. Survey ends January 14 2022: www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/precept2022.
