These new planning webinars have been developed in partnership with Birketts, Solicitors.
Tom Newcombe is a Partner and Head of Planning and Environment. He is an experienced Solicitor specialising in planning, environmental and highways law and joined Birketts with significant experience as a planning solicitor within the national planning team of an international law firm.
Local councils often feel at a disadvantage when dealing with planning matters on behalf of communities due to the complexities which have continued to grow despite various national reviews.
These webinars aim to help untangle the planning framework by looking at the key elements of process, procedure and different ways this can be managed by a town, parish or community council.
